Autumn is here for real.
My fall wardrobe is the same year after year, and it’s my favorite season to dress.
true lover of oversized men’s clothes, huge scarves and boots and the older the better according to me
Here I’m wearing jeans but now with merino wool underneath, oversized suit jackets in wool. old leather belts, knee-high boots, shirts and high-neck sweaters.
It gets darker, it gets quieter, it’s time for reflection no matter if we want it or not, it comes with the seasonal change.
I always get more creative this time of year but in a different kind of way. The year is soon behind us, what have I learned? What’s important to me now? What has been the biggest change?

How I dream my garden will look like one day. I’ve become such a gardener, loving it so much and I had no idea I would before we moved out of town.
It’s such an amazing thing to love, just browsing about plants and trees and being outside hoping things will grow.
Fall is when nature is the most beautiful – it shows it’s most beautiful side before it goes to sleep.
Just because we know that the fall folliage is temporary – does that makes us more prone to see the beauty of it?
I firmly believe we can only be truly present when we know that our intense experience is now and only now. Fall brings out that feeling.
I will make this receipe this weekend! It’s from the beautiful and so inspiring book: “Fridays from the Garden” by Flamingo Estate.
love this book so so much.
This color. Obsessive. A shade to hide behind, to dive into, to dream in, to indulge in, to dress in, to decorate with, to be seduced by. Luckily we still have a guest bathroom to fix in our home, so I´m gonna paint it in Farrow & Ball Brinjal 222.
I also found this bedding from Hay that I love! Stripes is always a good idea and this goes amazing for the season.
This is one of the rooms in our house, it’s not even half done yet when it comes to fixing curtains and shelves and putting up art on the walls etc, but it doesn’t matter. I love our deep petrol blue colored couch, and it’s the perfect place to hide. A velvet couch from and veryone in the family love our movie dungeon. I’m a pisces and we love our dark wood and shades for sho.
our weekly afternoons in the stable is my favorite ones, Anaïs is riding and I’m watching her and helping out with the horses and I dream of living on the countryside. I love being close to people and I get energized by being social, but I also love being close to nature more and more… Anyone else feel this too?
When we finally got a hold of an old piano, I felt that our home was finally on its way to be completed. We got it for free and it doesn’t sound perfect but that’s how we love it.
The space under the stairs is still reserved for the most important people in the family and I’m so glad we made it a hideout.
I simply put out sheep skins and tiny string lights. A book I love so much and have used so much as well is “Hidden Places – Handbok för vuxna till barnens magiska värld”
All I want right now is a dog, a horse, a leather couch, heavy velvet curtains in every room, tartan wool blankets in every corner and heavily printed cushions. Should we move out to the country side? Probably. Pic : 1990´s Ralph Lauren ad who does maximalistic country style the best.
To all of you, a calm and lovely weekend<3 <3
